Had a nice two-night stay. The room was comfortable with great charm, but WiFi was dodgy and could be improved heaps. Breakfast options were solid!

Absolutely loved the Italian grilled meat in the dining room! The spot is centrally located and the food was delish, especially at breakfast where the attentive staff made it a feast to remember.
The reception area could use a facelift.

The room was nice and clean, providing a comfortable stay. Great charm throughout the hotel added to the overall experience.
The WiFi connectivity was unreliable, disconnecting frequently. The cold tap didn't work properly, both taps felt hot, which was odd. The shower turned off was a challenge, requiring effort to manage. Limited food options left little choice, with only fish and chips available for one guest, and a lack of variety in their gin selection was disappointing.

The hotel blends traditional charm with friendly engagement.
I faced issues with the shower, as the dial was very stiff and difficult to manage. the dining service was frustratingly slow during peak hours, detracting from my overall experience. I was also disappointed that the internet connection was only reliable in the lobby area, making it inconvenient for anyone needing to work or stay connected.

Recommend it for group travelers
The food was fantastic, especially the cooked breakfast, was served hot and fresh, unlike those dreadful places that let the eggs sit around. Plus, Mary and Benny were welcoming and made our stay feel personal, which was refreshing.
It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly, but the experience was still worth it.
